Gili Trawangan: the party island
Gili T has a very friendly vibe, and is full of people keen to get to know one another. You can, however, still enjoy spending time on Gili T if you’re not into partying – the snorkeling, diving and sunbathing, horses etc. I’d still encourage you to try shrooms and relax for 3 nights.
The Gili islands overall are very relaxed and laid-back. Best of all, there are no cars or motorbikes to disturb the peace.
The name "Gili Islands" simply means "small island" in Sasak
